The fifth annual Communications Conference, hosted by Jefferies, a global investment bank and institutional securities firm, will commence Monday and Tuesday in New York City. The conference agenda boasts a range of “leading public and private companies from the communications sector,” and aims to address many current issues in the communications industry.
Some of those topics include consolidation, emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
“With industry-wide revenues expected to grow to more than $1 trillion by the end of 2008, the communications sector is attracting strong interest from the investment community,” commented Steven R. Black, Director of Research at Jefferies. “Jefferies’ upcoming conference provides a forum for investors to learn more about many of the innovative companies that are contributing to the strong growth in the sector.”
