Voice over IP phone systems seem to be the new product of choice for many small and medium businesses, allowing all the features of a high-end phone system as well as a lower cost.

Applications and products are popping up everywhere trying to appeal to businesses in that category.

3CX and VoIPon are the latest to announce a partnership to produce a “fully integrated business grade voice solution” for VoIP.

The partnership will allow companies currently utilizing 3CX IP PBX for Windows to take advantage of VoIPon’s voice services. The products have been tested for interoperability, eliminating worries about compatibility problems.

The system is claimed to increase mobility and productivity as well as reduce the cost of both local and international calls.

VoIPon’s services include call credit, incoming 01/02 Geographic numbers, 0800VoIP freephone number, 0845 VoIP local number, VoIPon tariffs, all securing low call rates. The system is easily installed and configured, according to a news release.

Another new partnership is the one between Allworx and Novus. The alliance’s goal is to help value-added resellers find small and medium business customers.

Novus offers Allworx products including the Allworx 6x and 24x VoIP system; 9112, 9102 and 9200 IP phones and a series of Allworx software such as Call Assistant, Call Queuing, Conference Center, and Dual-Language Packs, which include Spanish and English language support.

“Allworx’ offerings meet a need in the SMB marketplace unlike any other solution available today, in that they provide customers with the most economical approach to obtaining the latest and greatest VoIP technology,” Chris Meehan, Managing Director for Novus said in a statement.“The adoption of VoIP technology in the SMB market continues to grow, and the Allworx solution essentially provides a business-in-a-box approach that’s hard to beat.”
