It seems like an unlikely pairing, but VoIP service provider VOIP-PAL has a new offer to lure in more subscribers: Frequent flyer miles.
The company signed a deal with AirIncentives, which is powered by Points.com, that will allow VOIP-PAL to use frequent flyer miles as an incentive to customers. The miles will include Alaska, Delta, Midwest, Northwest, Continental airlines and US Airways.
Other industries have successfully used frequent flyer miles as customer incentive, and the VoIP should be no different. With the link between small and medium-sized businesses—many of which require their employees to travel—frequent flyer miles are an attractive bonus.
“This deal signifies an important step in VoIP-PAL.com’s strategy to become a leading VoIP provider. We are proud to be able to offer air mile incentives to those who buy our products and services, and look forward to offering more incentives like this in the future,” stated Richard Kipping, CEO of VoIP-PAL.com.
Customers will be issued a mileage code and can redeem their miles via AirIncentives’ redemption site. AirIncentives will deposit the miles into the customer’s chosen frequent flyer account.
